  • Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking/ Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children/ Human Trafficking 101
    • CSEC highlights the risk factors present to minors within our communities and to those who may have already experienced vulnerabilities. This training will give a basic understanding of the minors who are being exploited, those who are exploiting them (the trafficker) and the psychological coercion. The training will assist attendees in understanding how it can happen in their communities and what can be done to prevent this crime. Real life examples will be given and ways that recovery and restoration is possible.
  • Medical Professional Training
    • The medical professional training will give attendees an understanding of the crime of human trafficking and specifically the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children. The training will describe the force, fraud and coercion of human trafficking and how and individual can be vulnerable to trafficking. The training will identify tactics used by traffickers and red flags that medical professions can look for when assessing and/or treating a patient. The training will use real life examples, and methodology for intervention in a crisis situation when dealing with a victim of trafficking.
  • Social Worker/Foster Care Training
    • The training will focus on Social Workers and Foster Care parents will outline the understanding of Human Trafficking and more specifically the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children. Understanding will be given to risk factors to children’s vulnerability and specifically to minors in the foster care system. Social workers and Foster Care parents will be able to identify coercive methods used by traffickers and learn from real life examples of survivors and traffickers. Social workers and foster care parents will understand the need for long-term care and restoration including the importance of prevention and holistic care.
  • Teacher CSEC 101
    • The training will give educators a basic understanding of human trafficking and specifically the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children. The attendees will be able to implement current health standards as written in Health standards k-12. The training will identify red flags for educators to look for when working with students. The training will give the educators the ability to identify force, fraud and coercion tactics used and red flags used with minors in their community and in their school. Real life stories will be used so that educators may be able to identify potential victims within their schools and classes. The attendees will be able to identify where potential exploitation is occurring in their community, the means by which it occurs and the risk factors for the minors. Educators will be able to learn potential prevention strategies and practical tools to use within their school and classroom.
  • ‘Do you See Her?’ A personal journey through exploitation and recovery.
    • Attendees will learn the about the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children through the personal narrative of a  survivor. As a survivor a exploitation, who was unseen and unheard the personal narrative will educate and touch your heart. Attendees will learn the factors that put a child at risk for trafficking, where it takes place, and how a community can intervene to provide restoration assistance and care. Attendees will learn how to provide prevention and identify a potential trafficking victim.
